Why I do this work
I'm the founder and sole veterinarian of Fur Ever and Always. I established this practice with one simple desire: to give every pet the same love and dignity at the end of life that they gave us throughout it.
Working as both a veterinarian and a registered nurse has shown me, from two very different sides, what it means to care for the vulnerable — and what a gift it is to be able to gently end suffering for the animals we love. Having had to say goodbye to my own beloved pets over the years, I know how hard this moment is. I understand the emotions you may be facing, because I've faced them too.

A little bit about me
When I'm not caring for families and their pets, home is the northern side of Adelaide, where life is happily full — my partner, our baby, and our fur baby: a Siberian cat who runs the household with a velvet paw and is quite certain the rest of us are lucky to live here.
I came to this work through two callings that turned out to be the same one. As a veterinarian, I learned how to care for animals. As a registered nurse, I learned how to care for people through their most frightening and tender moments. End-of-life care sits exactly where those two meet — looking after a beloved animal, and looking after the family who loves them.
I also come to it as someone who has stood where you may be standing now. I've had to say goodbye to my own pets over the years, and I know there's no way to make that easy — only gentler, calmer, and kinder. That's what I hope to bring into your home: the time, the tenderness, and the quiet dignity your companion deserves, in the place they feel safest. I understand this loss from both sides of the door.
